Where We Ship

Online checkout currently accepts delivery addresses within the United States.

If you would like a piece delivered outside the United States, please contact us at gemmadunjo@gmail.com before ordering. We may be able to arrange international shipping depending on the destination and the piece.

International customers are responsible for any applicable customs duties, import taxes, or other charges unless otherwise agreed before purchase.

Processing and Delivery

Any product-specific making or preparation time will be stated on the product page.

Available shipping options and charges are shown during checkout before payment. Once your order has shipped, we will send available tracking information to the email address provided with your order.

Delivery dates are estimates rather than guarantees. Carrier delays, weather, holidays, customs, and other circumstances outside our reasonable control may affect delivery times.

Please make sure your shipping address is complete and accurate before placing your order.

When Your Order Arrives

Please inspect your package and lamp promptly after delivery.

If the package or item arrives damaged, please:

• Keep the item and all original packaging.
• Take clear photographs of the damaged item, the packaging, and the shipping label.
• Contact us at gemmadunjo@gmail.com with your order number and photographs as soon as possible.

Please do not discard damaged items or packaging while we review the issue, as the shipping carrier may require them when processing a claim.

If an item was damaged in transit or you received the wrong item, we will work with you to arrange an appropriate replacement, repair, refund, or other solution.

Returns

We want you to be happy with the piece you choose.

Unless a product is marked Final Sale or is custom, personalized, commissioned, or made specifically for you, you may request a return within 14 days of delivery.

To start a return, email gemmadunjo@gmail.com with your order number. Please wait for written return instructions before sending the item back.

Returned items must be:

• Unused and in their original condition
• Free from damage or alteration
• Returned with any components originally supplied with the item
• Securely packaged to protect the piece during return shipping

Please do not send an item back without first receiving return instructions from us.

Return Shipping

Unless an item arrived damaged, defective, or incorrect, the customer is responsible for the cost of return shipping.

Because our lamps are individually painted pieces, we strongly recommend using a tracked and insured shipping service. You are responsible for the returned item until it is safely received by us.

Original shipping charges are not refundable unless the return results from an error on our part or the product arrived damaged or defective.

Refunds

Once we receive and inspect an eligible return, we will notify you of the outcome.

Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method. Please allow additional time for your bank or card provider to process the refund after it has been issued.

If an item is returned damaged, altered, used, or otherwise not in its original condition, we may reduce or decline the refund where permitted by law.

Custom and Commissioned Pieces

Custom, personalized, commissioned, and made-to-order pieces are generally final sale once work has begun and cannot normally be returned simply because you change your mind.

If a custom or commissioned piece arrives damaged, defective, or materially different from what was agreed, please contact us and we will work with you to resolve the issue.

Any specific terms agreed for a commission or custom order will also apply.

Handmade Character

Each The Yellow Door Atelier piece is individually painted and finished by hand. Small variations in brushwork, color, pattern placement, texture, and finish are part of the character of a handmade piece and are not considered defects.

We photograph and describe each piece as accurately as reasonably possible, but colors may also appear slightly different depending on your screen and lighting.
